PLAIN RICE



Preparation time:   5 minutes
Cooking time:         20 minutes

Ingredients
3 cups of uncooked rice
6 cups of water
1 tablespoon of oil
¾ teaspoon of salt

Preparation
Wash the rice well.

Cooking
Put the water into a sauce pan and allow it to boil.
Add salt and oil.
Add the rice to the boiling water.
Let it cook on low heat until it is tender.
Stir it once or twice and after five minutes.
Lower the heat.
Fry for another 5 to 10 minutes.

Serve with beef or chicken stew and beans.
