MATOKEI




Preparation time:   10 minutes
Cooking time:         30 minutes

Ingredients
20 bananas
2 cups of water
1 tablespoon margarine or butter
½ teaspoon salt

Preparation
Wash the unpeeled.
Cut the ends of each banana.
Make a slight cut on the banana with a knife at the length of the banana.

Cooking
Put the bananas in a pot.
Add salt and 2 cups of water.
Cover the pot in medium heat.
Allow it to cook for 20 minutes.
Remove from the cooker.
Peel the bananas. (While they are hot, they will be easy to peel with bare hands)
Mash the bananas with a wooden spoon while adding margarine or butter.

Serve this delight with a beef stew or minced meat; also with beans.
