FRIED TILAPIA



Preparation time:   15 minutes
Cooking time:         20 minutes

Ingredients
3 small or medium tilapia
2 tablespoons of oil
1 teaspoon of salt
3 cloves of garlic

Preparation
Buy already cleaned tilapia.
Or
Wash the tilapia.
Remove its intestines and scales.
Wash the gills.
Cut each fish into two pieces.
Mark with a knife each half into smaller pieces but don't separate!
Apply salt and garlic to each piece.
Let it rest for 2 minutes.

Cooking
Pour some oil in a pan and heat it until it is hot.
Throw tilapia pieces into the pan.
Turn them over after few minutes.
Let both sides turn golden in not more than 10 minutes.
Remove them from the cooker and let the oil drip off.

Serve them with pieces of limes or lemons, also with salads and maize/corn meal.
