CHAPATIS



Preparation time:   15 minutes
Cooking time:         20 minutes

Ingredients
1 pound of wheat flour (optional whole wheat flour or half wheat, half white)
Some vegetable oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup of water

Preparation
First mix the wheat flour with water and salt.
Knead the dough until it becomes soft.
Then add a bit of oil, mix until it becomes smooth.
Cut the dough into small pieces and roll flat and round.

Cooking
Heat a shallow frying pan over medium heat.
Place the dough in the pan.
Leave in the pan for a few seconds until it is slightly cooked.
Then spread oil with a brush on both sides.
Keep on the frying pan for another 2 minutes.

Serve it with beef or chicken stew, beans and/or green grams.

Can also serve with tea for breakfast.
